Complete Guide to the Saudi Tourist Visa Application Process & documents

Applying for a tourist visa is a straightforward process, whether you choose to apply online or through VFS Tasheel based on eligibility. Application Process Guide to the Saudi Tourist Visa:

Visa application can be processed online directly from MOFA website and can be process through VFS Tasheel [How to track visa application process through VFS Tasheel- 'CLICK HERE'] , keep reading below to understand the eligibility.

1. Online Application:

Who Can Apply Online? Eligible applicants can apply for an eVisa directly online. You must have a valid passport with at least six months of validity, a credit or debit card, and an email address.

How to Apply Online:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Saudi eVisa portal https://ksavisa.sa/

2. Fill Out the Application: Complete the online application form with your personal information, personal information ...etc in the sequence shown in below picture. CLICK HERE to learn complete steps of application form filling.

   

3. Upload Documents: Attach the necessary documents (listed below).

   a) Photo as per specification shown in below picture, max size 5MB in PNG or JEPG .

   

   b) Passport clear scan copy first and last page.

   c) Visa or Residency proof (The documents based on which you are considered as eligible for this evisa, Like US visa/PR..etc).

4. Medical Insurance: Select the medical insurance. You will find multiple insurance company just select the one suitable for you. Fees will range from $6 to $300 per applicant. You can chose any one of these from the drop down menu.

6. Payment: Pay the visa fee using your credit card.

   Visa fees will be $91.50 ($81 visa fees + $ 10.50 service fees) and for example i chose the insurance policy of $6.45. You can refer the below picture taken from visa platform having breakup for your reference.

   

7. Receive eVisa: After processing, your eVisa will be sent to your email. Make sure to enter the correct email ID.

8. Processing time: Mostly its instant within 60 seconds as published in the visa portal, whereas some time it may take a day. If your visa status is shown as "Sent to embassy', then either wit will be clear within 24 hours or if it is not cleared then you have to recheck your eligibility.

   

9. Cancellation and refund: You can cancel the under process visa application after payment and claim refund with some deduction.

2. VFS Tasheel Application: You can contact us for the services [Contact]

Who Must Apply Through VFS Tasheel? Applicants not eligible for the eVisa must apply through VFS Tasheel.

How to Apply Through VFS Tasheel:

1. Documents: Collect the required documents (see below), To check updated list of documents from VFS Website, CLICK HERE

   • Valid Passport: Original Passport with at least 6 months validity on date of submission. (incase the applicant has an existing valid visa in the same passport irrespective of the visa type, a Visa cancellation form is required to be submitted). If applicants hold any previous passport, the same is required to be submitted in the original.

   • Passport-Sized Photo: Recent 02 photograph with white background. (Photo captured of 80% face focus). Photo captured in last 3 months.

   • Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed hotel accommodation booking/voucher for the duration of stay in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

   • Flight Itinerary: Flight booking with confirmed return air ticket.

   • Proof of solvency: Updated Original Bank Statement should be maintained for the last 3 months with minimum balance of equivalent of 750 USD per applicant (Duly attested on all pages by the Bank seal and signed the bank official). If a Company bank statement is submitted, additionally an ownership / Certificate of Incorporation (commercial registration) is required

   • Additional Documents (if applicable): For business owner, Student and Employed applicants listed below:

   • If applicant is employed, then a covering letter from Indian company with original company seal & signature addressed to the Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia, Mumbai is required.

   • If the applicant is proprietor/Business owner a Commercial Registration copy is required to be submitted.

   • If the applicant is a student letter of bonafide certificate from the educational institution is required.

     
     

2. Book an Appointment: Schedule an appointment through the VFS Tasheel website.https://vc.tasheer.com/appointment

3. Submit Application: Visit the VFS center on your appointment day to submit your application and biometric data.

4. Visa Fee Payment: Multiple payment mode is available for the payment of fees in VFS. Total fees with Insurance will be approx. Rs 12,500, without any valued added services. If you opt for passport collection by courier then it will add another Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 based on the location.

6. Processing duration: Average it takes 2-3 working days to generate the visa and after visa issuance you can consider 5-6 working days for Passport delivery.

• Visa Validity: The Saudi tourist visa is multiple entry and valid for up to one year from the date of issue.

• Stay Period: Tourists can stay for up to cumulative 90 days within visa validity .
